Studiobulut is a London-based platform founded by architect Merve Bulut.

Merve is dynamic and highly qualified architectural and interior designer involved in projects of various scales. She has developed her career by specializing mainly in interior design and related practices.  Her interest in finding functional solutions for design is combining with creation of elegant ideas at any scales of architecture.

 

She has started her career in Istanbul Metex Design Group with the design team of Radisson Blu Asia as a FF&E architect. In the forthcoming period, her sense of responsibility and determination allowed her to work as the project coordinator in the design teams of  10 Karakoy Boutique Hotel (Morgans Original), Buyukyali Luxury Residence Complex Sales Office and Renovation of old Iron Factory as Loft Apartments.

In the course of time starting with 10 Karakoy Hotel and going on with Iron Factory Lofts, she gained experience on design of renovation-refurbishment projects, coordinating the related disciplines and integrating the engineering designs to the architecture of building. She worked on each stages from concept development to construction drawings or follow-up construction phase to substantial detail solutions.

Merve has carried her experience to London after years of practice in Istanbul where she had the opportunity to work with a big team in various stages of high-end design projects. In 2016, she established STUDIOBULUT Design – London as a freelance designer and has continued to collaborate with various London based teams in prestigious residential and hospitality projects as well as renovation works. She has been also giving architectural and interior design services for individual clients.
